Another free and timely new family resource is on the Fifth Season horizon.

Because more people each year are diagnosed with cancer, a growing number of family members and friends are called upon to care for someone who is coping with the physical and emotional challenges of this disease.

For some caregivers, it may mean looking after someone who only needs moderate assistance with stress-reducing errands or transportation to and from medical treatments.  But for many others, it may require a constant and ongoing level of help with personal care tasks such as providing meals, bathing and dressing the patient, supervising medications, shopping, and more.

That’s why we at Fifth Season are presently developing another free comprehensive cancer resource guidebook entitled The Caregiver’s Journey, designed to simplify as much as possible the demanding process of caring for someone with cancer — and to ensure that the physical and emotional needs of the caregiver are not overlooked in the process.

So please check this area again soon for instructions on downloading or requesting a free handbook for yourself or for another caregiver you feel would benefit from receiving some spirit-boosting care and support of their own.

Mark — Minnesota
The one question I heard over and over again from the people at Fifth Season was, “Will you let us know if there’s anything more we can do for you at any time?”  That’s why I never feel like I’m in this fight by myself, because I know Fifth Season is with me.  It’s more than just about money with them — it’s about total support.
